15 September 2026

HAD Football Athlete Lily Milner has finished equal second in the 2026 Talent League Girls best and fairest, polling 15 votes.

Lily, the Gippsland Power captain, finished two votes behind winner Peggy Rock of the GWV Rebels and Northern Territory Academy, and level with Tillie Baldwin of the Eastern Ranges. The award's past winners include AFLW stars Chloe Molloy, Maddy and Georgie Prespakis, Nina Morrison and Ash Centra.

Lily also finished runner-up in Gippsland Power's best and fairest and was selected for Vic Country at the AFL Under 18 National Championships. At the AFLW National Draft Combine, she finished fourth in the 20m sprint and eighth in the agility test.

Lily works with the HAD Football team on her on-field and off-field development. These awards are testament to the hard work and dedication she has put in with HAD Football and Gippsland power; she has taken her game to the next level and we could not be prouder to have been part of her journey for so many years.

Congratulations, Lily, on a season to be proud of.
