HAD Football former client Harvie Cooke has been named in AFL.com.au Cal Twomey's October Phantom Form Guide, ranking #20 in the top prospects heading into the 2026 AFL National Draft.
The Northern Knights midfielder won the Morrish Medal as the best player in the 2026 Talent League season, then backed it up at the National Draft Combine. He finished fifth in both the 2km time trial and the agility test, making him one of the most consistent performers of the week.
Twomey highlights Harvie as a good user of the ball who can also hit the scoreboard, and praises the "win-at-all-costs approach" he brings to every game.
Harvie worked with HAD Football for two years.
“The first thing that stood out to me in some vision I received on Harvie, was his ability to tackle. It was ruthless. I thought to myself 'this player has some really well channelled aggression.' Then I saw him play in a trial for Northern and he was dynamic up forward. Missing out on Vic Metro after captaining the Knights Under 16 team, disappointed Harvie, like it does for many players. But I believe it often makes a player hungrier and is a blessing in disguise. Harvie's work ethic is unquestionable. He's got a great mix of offensive and defensive parts to his game. “

The 2026 AFL National Draft is in November. We'll be cheering him on.
